The Modern Antioch CULTURAL STATEMENT-
Modern Antioch is devoted to these following virtues: prayer; scripture; fellowship; worship; unity with both God and man; missional living; reconciliation; the sharing of burdens; stewardship; devotion to calling; sanctification.
Erik's goal in founding the group Modern Antioch is to bring Christians together from all across the globe. He envisions that they will pray together, study scripture together, and pour out unto one another.
The cultural statement of this group can be summed up in this quote: the Body of God is nothing less than a broken family aspiring under perfect God towards untarnished love.
The Cross is a bloody cry for love. It is the violent demand of God to pay attention to the cost of sin and beauty of love.
Union is the responsibility of the Christian
